Hi, Everyone! I hope this update finds you happy and healthy on this fine Sunday.

There has been some great movement on the revised plant files (since our graphic designer had so many edits over the last two months). I wanted to make sure all files that were provided were freshly compiled to avoid any confusion. Here is a sneak peak of one of the print sheets for your Wrathborne Champions!

It makes me profoundly happy to finally see movement on this scale. I hope you feel the same!
It makes me profoundly happy to finally see movement on this scale. I hope you feel the same!

I am doubly thankful that we asked for a fresh set of proofs from the plant, because one of our graphic designer's new card sheets failed to load the item images. It would be an even more difficult journey for your heroes without these...

It's dangerous to go alone, take this! Wait...take...what?
It's dangerous to go alone, take this! Wait...take...what?

I have the graphic designer making this correction with utmost urgency. I will be uncomfortably communicative with him to ensure this file is submitted correctly to the plant.

Once we have the corrected template for the items, we print.

No more delays, snags or excuses. Print.

With a smooth print run from the best folks at Ad Magic and Breaking Games, we expect your products will reach you this summer.  We are putting every penny (and then some) that we have to ensure a speedy manufacturing and shipment. You've waited long enough.

We will send out a survey to allow you to update all information needed to finally receive your product. We will do this as close to shipping as possible to ensure that the information is correct.

I have already relayed this to some of you in messages, but it's people like you that are still keeping us moving as forward with this project as fast as we can, and I wanted to take a moment to thank you again. It seems that anything that can go wrong, will go wrong once they start, but all we can do is keep going.

Regardless of you feel about this particular campaign, words can not express how important individuals like you are to the independent development industry...but I will always try. :)

Thank you for your messages, your patience, your feedback, and your passion for supporting others.

My best,

Angela "Pantics" Stiers

Checking in

Good Evening, Everyone! Pantics here, with an update.

The latest.

Since the renegotiation of the manufacturing quote with the amazing team at Ad Magic, our graphic designer has been working diligently with our manufacturer to provide the correct file types and specs for Wrathborne's art assets. There has been a voluminous exchange of emails between Jovial Graphics and Games.

The Count is Currently at 27
The Count is Currently at 27

There have been several waves of revised and custom templates had to be prepared to meet the specifications of your game assets, but I anticipate we will receive the printer's blessing soon.

What's the Timeline on actual delivery?

We expect that this game will go to the printer in February, and we anticipate manufacturing will take about three months. Shipments will be sent directly to our European and Canadian fulfillment partners, with the remaining bulk shipment being sent to our hub in Texas.   International backers will have their items shipped from those respective locations to get the long awaited product in your patient hands. I am hoping this happens sometime between May/June, depending on your locations.

For our stateside backers, as soon as we have the shipment in our possession, we will get to work on fulfillment. The first wave of packages will go out that next day, and we will bust our tails anytime we are not at our "real" jobs until fulfillment is completed.

No. No, it is NOT.
No. No, it is NOT.

I will post another update with proof from our manufacturer once we get confirmation from the manufacturer that all files are approved from the printer and meet all of the specifications and formatting requirements.

 .

I know it's been a rough run, folks. I appreciate everyone's feedback and continued interest in this game.

You'll hear from me as soon as we get word the files are going to the presses!

My Best,

Angela Pantics Stiers

Happy New Year Update
over 5 years ago – Fri, Jan 04, 2019 at 01:11:38 AM

Hey Team

I hope everyone had a happy new year.  As we enter into 2019, I wanted to give a quick update to fill in the gap from the last two months. I don't want to bury the lead, so lets jump into it.

As was mentioned before, our files are done and being provided to our manufacturer for production.  Unfortunately, when we started this process we discovered that the delay in our production schedule due to graphic design caused our previous production invoice to require a complete redo with AdMagic.

In short, the production deal we used the Kickstarter funds to pay for at the beginning of 2018 was no longer valid as changes with production and shipping from their factories in China were completely different by the end of the year.

So, this means we had to go back to the start with them and get a new invoice worked up with a new cost per item and new requested volume.  The new price means we will have to be ordering fewer additional units that we had planned; we are actually cutting the total order by a large amount in order to make sure we are good to cover all the shipping, which means the first print of the game will be a bit more exclusive than we originally intended.

The bad news is the same as it has been through all of 2018: stuff just keeps dragging on.  We continue to be profoundly sorry about the delay, and frankly, sounding like a broken record.  If we're being completely honest, I'm not sure if I've ever been hit with this level of perpetual anxiety over anything I've ever done before in my entire life.

The GOOD NEWS is that even though we had to renegotiate our order throught AdMagic, they have been absolutely brilliant about the lengthy process and the end result will have ZERO impact on the final product getting to any of you guys and gals (other than the before mentioned timing, of course). Quality is still going to be top notch, assets will still be a nice as we originally hoped, and the over all package will be exactly what we hopped it would be when we started our Kickstarter in 2017.

Once again, redoing the contract is not having any negative effect on the product you will all receive (other than making them a bit more exclusive because we won't have as many additional units to sell after the fact).

Thank you again for being with us on this profoundly long journey.  Believe me when I say that it kills me... daily.. that we haven't gotten the game out to you guys yet.  Seriously, I know it sucks for all of you and I literally have no excuse for that.  I'm sorry.

I was hoping to have a screen shot of the completed contract to accompany this message, but the back and forth hasn't reached a conclusion yet regarding the new invoice and I just couldn't hold off any longer. As soon as I have it in writing, you guys will see proof of it right here in an update.

Angie and Casey and I wish you each the very best as we move into 2019.  I hope you are all doing amazingly.

Happy New Year

Ben

Rules Rules Rules!
over 5 years ago – Thu, Oct 04, 2018 at 01:50:42 AM

Hey Team!

Yesterday our graphic designer sent over fully functional rules! No reason to waste any time here, hit the image or click here to check them out!

Official Rules
Official Rules

Our review has them looking pretty good so we are basically ready to start sending files over to the manufacturer once a couple minor corrections are made (just about a million years later that we ever hoped). The only real changes we have noted are profoundly minimal (some of the tokens don't have the 1 or 2 on them, a few placeholder things for company name and others, the second to last page being scratch paper it seems) and one major exclusion (the final page being a profound and never-ending "Thank You" to ... well... YOU, for all the support and patience).

The graphic design company has promised us a vastly shorter turn around on this last wave of corrections, and we hope to get the files to the manufacturer NEXT WEEK. So, there you go, about a year past when I ever hoped to send them, but it seems the graphic overhaul on this project was so far beyond what I thought it would be, and that is 100% on me.  Once again, I'm profoundly sorry.  If it kills me, I'm going to get something to the printer next week.

Anyways.... I wish you all the best, I hope life finds you as happy and healthy as you all deserve. Please keep an eye out for a "something to the printer" update next week (once again, come hell or high water on this one).

All the best and Game On

As promised earlier this week, here is the latest from Jovial Graphics & Games.

Our graphic designer last reported that he "should be done with the rules this week and then we can finish the cards and boards next week. Back of the box and the remaining tokens should be able to be done next week as well."

I expect a formal update from him early this week, and will keep you apprised.

Great! What's Next?

As soon as we are provided with the final assets, Dover, Randar, and I will meticulously scrutinize all of game components for accuracy and consistency.

Each of you will have the opportunity to review the materials as well (once we determine the easiest way to share the information).

Many thanks to each of you for your patience and support. We'll be in touch again soon.

Have an amazing day!
